Movie watchers were at a loss when the streaming service Netflix went down Sunday night. The Post’s Hayley Tsukayama writes that the issue was a technical problem, not the result of any hack, as some speculated, and that most service has been restored.
The site has become such a popular destination for Web users, as much as 30 percent of online traffic is generated by Netflix subscribers during peak hours.
For those stymied by what to do the next time Netflix goes offline, Doodlers Anonymous offers up a suggestion: draw on the Netflix envelopes and entertain the mail carriers of the world.
