Shane Bauer, Joshua Fattal, freed U.S. hikers, race down airplane stairs to greet family in Oman (Video)

The first photographs and video of the freed U.S. hikers Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal have been released. The images show the two young men thinner and paler than in earlier photographs, but happy and talking on cellphones. Swiss Ambassador Livia Leu Agosti, who helped negotiate their release, is also seen with the men.

The plane carrying the hikers left the Tehran airport Wednesday night. When it reached Oman, Fattal and Bauer ran down the plane’s stairs into the open arms of their family.
