Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Cristwell appears to have forgotten that cardinal rule, or perhaps he just didn’t care. In a video posted to YouTube in July, Cristwell plays guitar in nothing but a Starbucks apron, singing: “It's just a cup of coffee / Give me a break. / I shouldn’t have to put up with this, making minimum wage.... Screw frappucinos / they take forever to make. / You know there’s about a pound of fat in your / coffee cake.”

Two months later, Starbucks caught wind of the video, which had acquired more than 300,000 views since he had put it up. The coffee giant told Christwell that while they appreciated his creative ability, it was time to go.
