The South African miners story, according to Taiwanese Animators

After charging South African miners with murdering 34 of their colleagues, prosecutors decided to drop the charges against all 270 workers. The decision to charge the miners with murder immediately spread on the Internet, drawing criticism from around the world, and was challenged by the country’s own justice minister.

Last week, Taiwanese-based Next Media Animation produced this video detailing the incident and “common purpose doctrine,” an apartheid-era law that the prosecutor used to charge the arrested miners.
