Tweets in real life

(Ted Mikulski)

Despite the distance Twitter has covered toward becoming a serious social media site, its 140-character messages can often seem mildly ridiculous when viewed off the site (see: Twits). Ted Mikulski has taken that absurdity and turned it into an art project, leaving tweets in real-life settings. He documents the results in photographs, but even more than the images, I like imagining people stumbling onto these mysterious messages and trying to make out their meaning.
