Discovery News reports on a surprising new conclusion by a team of researchers: The 1976 Viking experiments found evidence of life on Mars. The scientists reviewed data from the experiments and, using a mathematical analysis, determined that Viking had discovered evidence of biological activity.

The new research was published online in the International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sciences. Read the full story at Discovery News.
