For the past six months, J.J. has been learning the basics of being a mascot and his big debut was at Midnight Madness on Friday night, marking the beginning of basketball season.
(You can read the full article here: “Georgetown’s mascot-in-training, Jack Junior, ready for Midnight Madness debut.”)
An update: J.J. performed as planned Friday night, with a little help. He ran around the court and popped a few blue and orange balloons (Syracuse University colors). Here’s a video of the action, courtesy of Georgetown Athletics.
