Oberlin officials parody Rebecca Black’s “Friday”

It’s Friday, Friday... And Friday before a holiday weekend, no less.

Something to entertain those of you still stuck in the office: Administrators at Oberlin College in Ohio agreed to totally embarrass themselves in a lip-synced parody of Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” The video premiered Thursday night at the Class of 2011 Senior Supper, which kicks off a weekend of festivities.

And while I truly enjoyed watching Oberlin President Marvin Krislov decide if he should be “kickin’ in the front seat” of a golf cart with
Dean of Students Linda Gates (who has some mean dance moves) — or “sittin’ in the back seat” with alumni fund director Danielle Young and spokesman Ben Jones — my favorite “Friday” parody of all time is still Stephen Colbert’s version on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Have a great Memorial Day weekend! In fact, have fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun...
