How do you keep a business innovative?

The Northern Virginia Technology Council held its annual Destination Innovation event at The Washington Post on Monday, inviting 20 companies of all sizes to present their latest creations to an audience of technology enthusiasts.

As the name suggests, innovation was a central theme of the event. In his opening remarks, Magid Abraham, the chief executive of Reston-based ComScore, said his company always has its next step in mind.

“As soon as we have a product out, I basically assume it’s obsolete,” Abraham told the crowd.

Capital Business, a co-sponsor of Monday’s event, asked executives from several of the presenting companies how they remain innovative. Watch their responses in the video below.

In the comments, tell us how your business stays innovative.
