Alert: Winter Weather Advisory Tomorrow

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the District and points north and west from 7 a.m. Thursday to midnight Thursday night. According to NWS ...

PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN AS SNOW THURSDAY MORNING ACCUMULATING AROUND AN INCH AROUND THE INTERSTATE 95 CORRIDOR WITH AS MUCH AS THREE INCHES POSSIBLE NORTH AND WEST OF WASHINGTON DC AND BALTIMORE. A CHANGEOVER TO SOME SLEET...FREEZING RAIN OR RAIN IS EXPECTED DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING HOURS. ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM A LIGHT COATING TO UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE ON TOP OF THE SNOW PACK.
