Not bad overall. But clouds may win out over the sun, and you may need the umbrella once or twice. Get the Digit on Twitter | Discuss on Facebook

Kind of an in-between sort of day today, with considerable clouds and the chance for a few light showers marking down what would otherwise be a pretty nice fall Sunday. We’ll see more in the way of sun tomorrow, but then probably cloud up later in the day as low pressure moves closer from the southwest. It’s the same system that brought flooding rains to Texas yesterday. It won’t be as juicy for us, but should produce occasional showers as we get into Tuesday.

Today (Sunday): A good deal of cloudiness is in the forecast for us today thanks to a disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere, though we’ll likely see breaks of sun here and there. Occasionally, a few light showers may fall from those clouds, with a 30% chance of getting wet at any given location. Highs should reach the low 70s. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: Skies should see at least partial clearing during the evening into the overnight. It’ll feel like a classic fall night as well, with temperatures dropping to lows in the upper 40s to mid-50s by morning. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Monday): We start off the week on a fine note, with mostly sunny skies as we head back to work. But clouds may begin to stream in from the south sometime during the afternoon, ahead of our next weather system. Fairly nice on the whole though, with highs in the mid-70s. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: Shower chances gradually increase, to around 60% once we get into the overnight hours, as low pressure to our southwest sends a warm front through our area. Skies are cloudy with lows from near 60 to the mid-60s. Confidence: Medium-High

Tuesday dawns gray with a good chance (60-70%) of off-and-on showers throughout the day. Shouldn’t be too heavy, but still a pretty decent chance of getting wet. Highs head for the mid-70s to near 80. A chance of showers continues Tuesday night with mild lows in the mid-60s to near 70. Confidence: Medium

Isolated to scattered showers remain possible through at least the first half of the day on Wednesday. Could see brightening skies later in the day and highs stay on the warm side, rising to the upper 70s to low 80s. Confidence: Medium
