After highs today shoot for a second straight day near or past 70, temperatures step back toward normal Thursday and Friday. But normal highs for early April are in the low 60s, which feels pretty good especially in the sun, which there should be plenty of Thursday into the weekend. We could use some rain but there’s not much to be had over the next several days. We’ll trend a bit warmer again this weekend, so start making your outdoor plans now!
Today (Wednesday): Not as picture-perfect as yesterday, but fairly nice nonetheless. In fact, we start the day quite a bit warmer, with morning lows in the upper 40s to mid-50s compared to the frosty 30s many saw yesterday morning. Partly sunny skies then push afternoon highs to near 70 to the mid-70s. And with a cold front in the area we do have a 30% chance of a few afternoon/evening showers and maybe a thunderstorm, especially south of town. Confidence: Medium
Tonight: For now we’ll keep a 30% chance of a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm in the forecast through mid-evening, after which skies turn partly to mostly clear and lows drop into the 40s in most spots . Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): Plenty of sun is on tap for tomorrow. But with a colder air mass in place and a light breeze from the north, highs can probably only mange the upper 50s to low 60s. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: We’ll have to watch a system tracking to our south in case it tries to throw a late-night shower or two our way. Otherwise we’re looking at partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid-30s to low 40s. Funny how lows right around average feel cold after the amazing early-spring warmth, right? Confidence: High
A LOOK AHEADCan’t completely rule out a shower Friday morning as low pressure to our south tracks out to sea. The balance of the day looks pretty nice, though, with mostly sunny skies, a light north breeze and highs from near 60 to the mid-60s. Friday night continues mostly clear as lows dip to the mid-30s to mid-40s (suburbs to city). Confidence: Medium-High
Easter weekend aims to please with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s to near 70. Just a small chance of a shower late Sunday means our rain deficit is likely to grow. Saturday night lows range from the mid-30s in the coldest suburbs to as high as the mid-40s downtown. Confidence: Medium
