FORECAST IN DETAIL
We will actually be stuck with seasonable weather the next three days before summer tries to make another comeback early next week. Another nuisance shower event shows up early Saturday but the entirety of Sunday should be a real winner! Rains for the garden and pollen purging remain in short supply. It would be nice to get a real soaking storm but for that we may have to wait for the middle of next week (if then).
Today (Thursday): A few clouds my be lingering in the daybreak sky but sunshine dominates this day. The winds put a definite chill in the morning coming out of the northwest at 15-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph. Conditions gradually improve in the afternoon as the stronger winds diminish and highs reach the low-to-mid 60s. Confidence: High
Tonight: High pressure settles in and winds really die down. Temperatures are on a downward tack as well with 50s for the evening. Lows are chilly as they bottom out in the mid-30s to lower 40s downtown.
Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Friday): Skies should start out sunny but my guess is that high level clouds begin to sneak in by midday and lower through the afternoon. That should keep highs in the low-to-mid 60s but if the clouds are behind schedule we could see upper 60s. Breezes should be light from the south. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: Showers are possible any time but nearly as likely to not happen at all. Rain chances are 50-60% but amounts are liable to be paltry. Barring a few drops, the evening should be pleasant as the 60s hold steady. Overnight lows only make the low-to-mid 50s. Confidence: Medium
A LOOK AHEADSaturday is stuck under a shroud of clouds early but clouds may decrease some in the afternoon. Showers are a possibility (40-50% chance), especially in the morning, but appreciable amounts are unlikely. Highs should top out in the low-to-mid 60s. Skies clear in the evening and it looks like a good night to be out. A north breeze pushes in slightly cooler air overnight with lows in the mid-to-upper 40s. Confidence: Medium
Sunday has potential to be as good a spring day can be and, despite the calendar, I am not fooling! Partly to mostly sunny skies, light breezes and a high in the low-to-mid 70s. Do you need an engraved invitation? Get out and enjoy. My favorite activity is checking out all the azaleas already bursting out everywhere. Overnight lows should stall in the low-to-mid 50s. Confidence: Medium
Monday should be back to summer with brisk winds from the southwest and highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s under sunny skies. Confidence: Medium
