Well, for the second week in a row we’re looking at midweek storminess followed by weekend sun - I can hear school kids area-wide praying that trend continues right on into snow season. As for today’s rain, it transitions to a chance of scattered showers this evening. Then we’re windy tomorrow as the sun returns and sticks around through a pleasant, seasonal weekend.
Today (Wednesday): We’ll see periods of rain today with a chace of isolated thunder. Cloudy skies and a cool 10-20 mph breeze from the east/northeast should limit highs to the mid-to-upper 60s. Ummm... enjoy? Confidence: Medium-High
Tonight: Upper-level low pressure to our west means mostly cloudy evening skies with a 50% chance showers and the potential for areas of fog, then drying out overnight with partial clearing and lows in the 50s. Some spots could see Wednesday-Wednesday night rain totals near or a bit past 0.5-1”. Confidence: Low-Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): Just a slight chance of a shower tomorrow. Otherwise, we’re looking at partly sunny skies and windy conditions - 15-25 mph from the southwest with gusts near 35 mph. Highs in the low-to-mid 60s aren’t bad, but will feeler cooler than that with the wind. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: We’ll stay breezy and partly cloudy. Those breezes should keep temperatures from truly tanking, so expect lows in the low-to-mid 40s (suburbs) to upper 40s to near 50 (downtown). Confidence: Medium-HighA LOOK AHEAD
Friday starts a touch chilly, but not at all unusual for the latter part of October. Winds from west are still a bit breezy, though less so than Thursday, as highs head for near 60 to the low 60s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Friday night should be rather uneventful in the weather department with lows from near 40 in the burbs to the mid-40s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High
Yay! Gotta like our recent pattern of nice weekends. The mornings are definitely cool with lows starting from near 40 to the mid-40s. But partly to mostly sunny skies help Saturday and Sunday highs to near 60 to the low 60s. Confidence: Medium-High
