FORECAST IN DETAIL
Today looks like the final opportunity to get out and about before a couple days of uncomfortably hot and humid conditions move in. It’s plenty warm today but humidity levels aren’t too high before beginning to creep up this evening. Ahead of an approaching cold front, highs are likely to climb well into the 90s both Monday and Tuesday with humidity increasing to full strength. Storm chances return late tomorrow and Tuesday as well.
Today (Sunday): Plenty of sun continues to shine down on us today. With high pressure overhead, we’ll enjoy just a few fair-weather clouds moving through. We stay on the warm side with highs reaching the low 90s. Humidity’s still not too high, even as winds turn to come from the south later in the day. Confidence: High
Tonight: Tranquil is the word I’d use to describe conditions tonight. We have mostly clear skies to enjoy the evening, but with not much of a breeze and dew points climbing, it may turn a bit sticky. Lows range from the upper 60s to low 70s.
Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Monday): Our work week starts off more humid with plenty of sun through early afternoon and highs potentially to the mid-90s, unless building clouds later in the day arrive early enough to keep highs to the low 90s. The clouds are ahead of an approaching cold front, which could trigger late-afternoon or evening thunderstorms (40% chance). Confidence: Medium (10:40 a.m. update: Looks like storm chance probably holds off until evening or overnight and more like 20-30%)
Tomorrow night: Thunderstorm chances are around 40% 20-30% through the night. Aside from any storms, we have mostly cloudy skies and a sticky overnight. Temperatures probably don’t drop lower than the mid-70s with a very moist air mass in place.
Confidence: Medium
The front comes through on Tuesday, leaving us with continued afternoon/evening storm chances (40%). Before that though, we may be in for quite an uncomfortable day, with partly sunny skies, plenty of humidity, and highs at least in the low-to-mid 90s if not higher. Confidence: Low-Medium
By Wednesday, the front has passed and we get some nice relief from the humidity, as high pressure to the northwest sends a nice breeze from the northwest our way. With clearing skies, highs are right around the mid-July average - near 90. Confidence: Medium
