Nighttime muggies in Washington, D.C.: record warm overnight temperatures

(National Weather Service)
This swampy air mass is making it hard to cool down at night. On Tuesday, record high minimum temperatures were tied or established at all three local Washington/Baltimore airports. See the above graphic.

We’ll probably set/tie more records today unless it cools off before midnight (getting some rain would help!). Lows so far: DCA 78 (record 76, 1983), IAD 74 (record 73, 1999) , BWI 77 (record 77, 1999).
