PM Update: More milder than normal, placid weather

We logged our 18th straight warmer than average day today, with highs reaching into the mid-to-upper 40s. It will be seasonably cold tonight, but with lots of sunshine tomorrow, temperatures head up to near 50 to close out the work week. The big cool down holds off until the weekend

Through Tonight: Clear skies and kind of cold, especially as you get away from the city. Lows dip into the mid-20s in the colder suburbs to the low 30s downtown. You may need your ice scrapers in the morning in some spots.

Friday: Sunny skies in the morning, but some high clouds may start to stream in by late in the afternoon. Temperatures head on a nice upward ascent, reaching around 50 degrees. Winds are light, from the south at 5-10 mph or so.
