A solid dose of sunshine and a verifiable lack of arctic air elevated today’s temperatures into the mid-50s. Tomorrow, a warm front moving through drapes clouds over the region holding temperatures back a bit. And it brings a chance of rain showers. But the payoff this weekend will be sweet.
Through Tonight: We have increasing clouds and it’s not particularly cold. Lows range from the upper 30s in the colder suburbs to low 40s downtown.
Friday: Cloudy skies for much of the day put a brake on temperatures with highs “only” around 50. There’s a bit than 50/50 chance of showers, mainly in the afternoon. A light wind from the south gradually kicks in at about 5-8 mph.
