The line of severe thunderstorms is headed out of the area. Storms have a history of producing some damage, including hail near 0.75 inches in diameter (nickel size) and larger, as well as wind gusts that have knocked over trees and power lines in spots. Many spots have seen around .50" of new rain with a few locations reporting more. Not quite enough to cause widespread flooding problems in the immediate area, but be alert for standing water on roadways. The watch is being cancelled in D.C. and surrounds as lighter rain and some thunder linger behind the line.
