Flash flooding is biggest concern; More storms tomorrow?
We caught a break this evening as showers and storms, for the most part, did not materialize. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued earlier by the National Weather Service was canceled and just a few isolated showers popped up. Another batch of showers and storms currently in West Virginia will likely (60% chance) threaten later this evening or overnight -- especially in the southern suburbs. The major concern with any storms is flash flooding as the ground remains completely saturated from all the recent rain. When it's not raining, it will be mostly cloudy and humid overnight, with lows near 70.
