Storm Threat Ends, Drier Air to Move In

The majority of the thunderstorm activity has now moved east of the metro area. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch along with the Flood Watch issued earlier have been canceled. After a few widely scattered showers through 8 p.m., skies will gradually clear as the cold front responsible for the earlier inclement weather moves away.
