StrasCast: On schedule... kind of

* Our Full Forecast | Weather Wall | NatCast | Nationals Journal * Like many Washingtonians, we at Capital Weather Gang are looking forward to Stephen Strasburg's imminent entrance onto the D.C. sports scene, and are wondering if we might hold the "golden ticket" to his first major league start. The Nats are finally giving us a clue as to when that will be (during the June 8-10 series against the Pirates at Nationals Park it seems). But even that timetable seems like it's still in flux, and the weather can still play a factor in the scheduling process. Strasburg's next start, TONIGHT, for the Syracuse Sky Chiefs is all systems go. Syracuse will see a great night for holiday-weekend baseball. Then, it will be back to the waiting game for his first start in D.C., and we'll add yet another data point to consider: how the weather affects his schedule. Check back each day for updates...
