Strong to Severe Storms Firing Up Again

Plenty of sun today boosted temperatures into the 80s, which in turn destabilized the atmosphere nicely. Unlike yesterday, which saw numerous hail reports for the far southern suburbs, much of the area stands a risk of getting hit through the evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rain, isolated damaging winds and some large hail. Additional storms are possible later.
