Video: Emirates Airlines plane struck by lightning

Multiple news organizations have reported lightning struck an Emirates Airlines plane landing in London Saturday. The plane - an Airbus A380 - wasn’t damaged and none of the 500 passengers were hurt.

Lightning routinely strikes airplanes. CBS News quoted Flightglobal’s operations and safety editor David Learmont who said “they act as a conductor.”

Nevertheless the video, below, is...well...shocking...
