PM Update: Drier weather finally arrives Wednesday

Drizzle-fest 2013 continues through tonight, but hump day marks the transition to a sunnier weather regime.  Cool, moist flow off the Atlantic persists into early Wednesday, but relents as the day wears on.  We may actually see a sunset tomorrow.

Through Tonight: More of this same messy cocktail of low clouds, drizzle, pockets of fog, and cool temps.  Lows range from the upper 40s to low 50s.

Tomorrow (Wednesday): The morning hours may present more dreary overcast, but as high pressure pushes southward, there’s a good chance of breaks in the clouds and increasing sunshine in the afternoon.  Temperatures respond by climbing into the mid-to-upper 60s.

Pollen: Counts, fortunately, have been washed out due to the rain.

Rain photos: It’s hard to make a gray, rainy day look pretty. But these recent photo submissions to our Flickr group are certainly exceptions…
