A weak cool front sagged south through the region today, triggering thunderstorms in central Virginia that just missed us.  The passing of that boundary to our south sets up a picture perfect close to the work week.

Through Tonight: Variably cloudy this evening, with a trend towards clearing late at night.   It’s pleasant to be out and about, with temperatures dropping through the 70s this evening.  Early morning lows range from the low-to-mid 50s in the cooler suburbs to near 60 downtown.

Tomorrow (Friday): Partly to mostly sunny skies and delightful.  With winds from the north, it’s about 5-8 degrees cooler than today, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s.
