PM Update: More warmth, storm chances inch up Wednesday

Temperature Map

Southerly winds ushered in warm, humid air today (dew points in the upper 60s!), with highs in the low-to-mid 80s.  Storms avoided us today, and may well Wednesday – though rain chances rise slightly.

Through Tonight: Partly cloudy and, just like last night, very mild.  Lows range from the mid-60s in the cooler suburbs to only around 70 downtown.  Light winds from the south. Yes, it will feel like July overnight.

Tomorrow (Wednesday): There may be a little patchy fog or drizzle when you get up and head out (like the last couple days), but the sun will emerge after around 9 a.m.  It’s partly sunny and humid in the afternoon, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s.  A few thunderstorms may develop (30-40 percent chance) with the best odds towards the mountains.  Winds are from the south at around 10 mph (except higher in any thundershowers that potentially develop)
