Yesterday wasn’t the nicest one for late May, but if you can deal with cooler than normal temperatures, plus some wind, you’ve got no worries today. In fact, it should be pretty darn gorgeous as we head through the next few! Any real threat for rain should hold off until we all head back to work.

Today (Saturday): Let’s start with the good news: Today should be fairly sunny. On the flip-side, winds remain rather strong — sustained as high as 20-25 mph from the northwest, with higher gusts. We warm up a bit from yesterday with highs ranging from the mid-60s to near 70. Confidence: Medium

Tonight: Winds diminish as we lose the heating of the day, though they probably don’t subside fully, still blowing around 5-10 mph overnight. At least it’s mostly clear! Lows are in the 40s (42-48) area-wide, perhaps closer to 50 downtown. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Sunday): Another mostly sunny day is ahead, with winds lighter than they have been in recent days, but still blowing from the northwest around 10-15 mph. We warm things up a smidge — highs generally in the near 70 to mid-70 area. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Mostly clear skies persist. It’s another cool night as well, but up a bit comparatively. Expect lows to drop down between the mid-40s and lower 50s. Confidence: Medium

A LOOK AHEAD

Memorial Day (Monday) keeps the sunshine going. Overall, a pretty delightful one as winds are much lighter than recently. Highs make the mid-to-upper 70s. Overnight lows reach the 50s as clouds increase and a slight risk of showers arrives. Confidence: Medium

Tuesday brings with it more in the way of clouds, but probably no worse than partly cloudy. There’s also a risk of a late day shower or thunderstorm. We keep the warm up going (and it will rev up afterwards), with highs reaching up near 80 or so. Confidence: Medium
