PM Update: Cool tonight, with spectacular weekend weather ahead

Despite morning cloudiness and some showers hanging on longer than expected, today’s forecast ended up doing pretty well when all was said and done. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s were much cooler than recent days. Even better, humidity has been washed out of here by the cold front moving to our south and east. Sometimes gusty breezes continue into the evening before diminishing, and the stage is set for an amazing weekend.

Through Tonight: Clouds generally break as we lose the heating of the day, but a sprinkle or two is possible before sunset.  Winds sustained around 10-15 mph from the northwest, with higher gusts, also eventually subside a bit. They’re probably noticeable much of the night though.  Lows are mainly in the upper 40s to mid-50s as winds keep us from reaching our coldest potential most spots.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Cool air is fully entrenched, and that leads to a stunning day for outdoor activity. It might be a bit cool at times thanks to a wind peaking around 10 mph and some higher gusts. But plentiful sun, and highs ranging from near 70 to the mid-70s, is hard to beat.

Sunday: Climbing off Saturday night lows mainly in the mid-40s to low 50s (grab a jacket if out!), another delightful day is on tap. Temperatures are probably a bit higher, mostly targeting the mid-70s (73-78). Lots of sun, and not much wind!
