Surveillance cameras capture EF-4 tornado destruction in Washington, Illinois

The devastation left behind by the EF-4 tornado that swept through Washington, Illinois last month (Nov. 17) was unfathomable. On Tuesday, new video – showing the tornado’s fury from the vantage point of four surveillance cameras – was posted to YouTube.  It is a terrifying, incredible sight to behold.

And the footage appended to the end of the video – of the aftermath – is gut-wrenching.
