Super Bowl forecast update: Warmest day in weeks? Possibly.

A storm traversing near the U.S./Canada border will send a cold front toward MetLife Stadium during the day, but not before temperatures rise well above normal it now seems. The trend has been for less and less precipitation risk with this system, though we can’t rule out some rain showers (40% chance), particularly the first half of Sunday. Highs nearing or even surpassing the 50-degree mark are becoming a decent bet! The last time the temperature rose above 50 was the second week of January locally.
