Heck yeah! Saturday could be near 60 in D.C.

Bless the European model. Bless the Canadian and American (GFS) model too.

They all hint D.C.’s high temperature could flirt with 60 degrees on Saturday.

Because it’s been so cold lately, our memories may be short but – believe it or not – we hit 60 or higher 5 times in February.  Most recently, it was 64 on February 23 (following two previous days when it was 64 and 69).

While March is likely to be colder than normal overall, the good news is that in between cold weather systems, it doesn’t take much to push the mercury into 60-degree territory.  I’m sure many of us will embrace Saturday’s potential offering.
