What is your sign for spring?

What is your sign for spring?  What moment stops you in your tracks and makes you realize, “spring is here!”? The spring season has always been a highly sensory season for me.  When the flowers bloom and trees leaf out I see a burst of color instead of  winter’s humdrum palette of brown and grey. And the smell of backyard BBQ’s, fresh mulch and freshly cut grass overwhelm me with good feelings.

Amongst all of that, my #1 “spring is here!” moment comes with the first real thunderstorm.  One with a steady warm rain and persistent rolling thunder.

So tell us!  What moment most personifies that spring has officially arrived?  Don’t see your moment on the list?  Choose “Other” and let us know in the comments!
