PM Update: A fine, but not flawless weekend ahead – small shower chances both days

The work week certainly closed on a high note, with partly sunny skies and enjoyable temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.  The weather this weekend is respectable, but falls shy of perfect.  Highs both days are around 70, but the afternoon hours carry the slight chance of showers.

Through Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and pleasant enough.  Lows range from the upper 40s in the cooler suburbs to mid-50s downtown.  Light winds from the west around 5-10 mph, becoming calm.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Variably cloudy, with intervals of sunshine.  In the afternoon, there’s a slight risk of showers (20-30 percent), with the highest chances in our northern suburbs.  Highs range from the upper 60s to low 70s, with winds from the southwest at around 10 mph, with some gusts to around 20 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy.  Evening temperatures fall through the 60s and into the 50s, so grab a jacket if you’re out and about.  Overnight lows range from 45-52 (suburbs-city).

Sunday: Partly sunny, but there’s a 40 percent chance of scattered showers by mid-to-late afternoon.  Temperatures are comfortable with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
