How nice of the clouds to part on a Friday afternoon – providing the perfect lead-in to what promises to be a sunny, splendid weekend. Both days are pretty idyllic with lots of blue sky and very pleasant temperatures.

Through Tonight: Gradually clearing skies.  By late at night, a light jacket might be wise, with lows in the low 50s in our cooler suburbs to near 60 downtown.  Light winds from the northwest.

The weekend: Both days are quite similar and quite spectacular.  Under mostly sunny skies, highs both days range from 75-80.  Saturday night is clear and calm, with lows 50-60 (suburbs-city).  Winds are light – from the north Saturday at around 10 mph, and from the east Sunday Sunday at around 5 mph.
