Alex Ovechkin delivers open-ice hit in KHL debut (video)

Alex Ovechkin made his KHL debut in Dynamo Moscow’s 7-2 win over Dynamo Minsk Thursday.

He recorded an assist in the contest, but arguably his biggest impact came in the form of a solid open-ice check on Dynamo Minsk’s Libor Pivko.
