Joining Ovechkin as the NHL’s stars of the week were Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos, who was named first star after he scored six goals in three games, and Los Angeles netminder Jonathan Quick, who was named third star after positing a 1.33 goals-against average and .958 save percentage in three wins.
