Backstrom is missing from practice

First line center Nicklas Backstrom is not practicing this morning at KCI, 24 hours after getting a day off. The team has not provided an update on his status, but he's been replaced by Brendan Morrison while Tomas Fleischmann has shifted to center on the second line.

As of right now, Coach Bruce Boudreau's playoff lineup looks like this:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Morrison-Knuble
Laich-Fleischmann-Semin
Chimera/Walker-Belanger-Fehr
Laing/Bradley-Steckel-Gordon

Defense
Schultz-Green
Morrisonn-Corvo
Poti-Carlson
Erskine-Sloan

I'll post an update as soon as I hear something about Backstrom, who has never missed a game and, according to the shift chart from Sunday's game, did not miss any playing time.

Backstrom has, however, missed parts of a few games in his career due to migraine headaches.
