Capitals announce training camp schedule, roster

The Capitals announced the schedule for training camp, which kicks off Saturday with practices at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Click here for the full schedule.

There will be three practices on Sunday, Sept. 18, and Monday, Sept. 19, as well, leading up to the first preseason game on Sept. 20 in Baltimore against the Nashville Predators.

Because of the compact nature of the preseason — there are only three days before the first game — there likely won't be the usual Duchesne Cup tournament this year.

Check out the roster, broken down into groups, after the jump.

Keep in mind that this is not a complete roster, because prospects will be added after the conclusion of rookie camp. The rosters also can, and likely will, change.
