The Caps were split in two groups for practice, but based on the workouts at KCI today it looks like Friday’s preseason tilt in Chicago will feature some of their stars.

Coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed that Tomas Vokoun will make his preseason debut with the Capitals against the Blackhawks. Here is what the rest of the lineup might look like.

The other practice group went through an abbreviated bag skate at the conclusion of practice, which is unusual for those who are expected to play the next day. There was also quite a bit of rotation among forwards in the second group, but here’s an idea of what things looked like.
