Capitals recall Cody Eakin from Hershey

The Capitals have recalled forward Cody Eakin from Hershey, the team announced this morning.

No one has hit the ice here at KCI yet, but the move could be connected to the injury to Alexander Semin, who missed Thursday’s 2-1 shootout loss in Philadelphia. Semin, the team's second leading scorer, is day-to-day with a lower body and hasn’t skated in two days.

The Caps host Winnipeg tonight at Verizon Center.
