Caps' Brooks Laich: Pressure comes from within

The frustration and anger and despair of Caps fans last April, when Washington lost in the first round of the playoffs to Montreal, pales in comparison to the frustration and anger and despair the Caps are feeling themselves, writes Tracee Hamilton.

The money quote, via -- who else? -- Brooks Laich :

"There's nights when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I can't fall asleep for two hours because I'm still upset about it and it's hard to get that out from inside. The only way to do it is to start playing hockey and to win more hockey games. I think that's the only way to sort of exorcise that demon."
