Defending champ Sweden blanks Germany

From the AP:

Mattias Ohlund and Loui Eriksson scored in the second period Wednesday night, helping defending Olympic champion Sweden shake off a slow start to beat Germany 2-0.
The Swedes did not have a shot on net until midway through the scoreless first period in their Vancouver Games opener.
Sweden's Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves for the shutout, following his strong showing four years ago. Germany's Thomas Greiss stopped 23 shots.
The Swedes are trying to be the first team to win two Olympic golds since the NHL allowed its players to compete in the Winter Games 12 years ago. The Russians and Canadians, though, are widely regarded as favorites.
