Jason Chimera not skating

Although Coach Bruce Boudreau wouldn't confirm whether the Caps have any injuries, Jason Chimera is not skating this morning at Bell Centre. It's unclear what is ailing the left winger, but he was observed walking with some difficulty and working with team trainers. So it's likely a lower-body injury.

Chimera has not been ruled out for tonight's game against the Canadiens. But if he doesn't suit up, it looks like he'll be replaced by Matt Bradley on the third line and Quintin Laing will return to the lineup and play on the fourth line.

I'll have more shortly.
