The Washington Capitals are showing the same line combinations during rushes in Friday’s morning skate at KCI that they used in the 5-3 win over Ottawa, so don’t expect too many changes in the lineup against the Maple Leafs.
Jay Beagle, who has not played since suffering a concussion on Oct. 13, is taking part in the morning skate in what appears to be continued progress for the winger.
Defensman Roman Hamrlik, who has missed four contests because of what the team has described as a lower-body injury, is taking part in the workout but did not rotate in consistently with the line rushes.
Meantime, neither Mike Green (strained right groin muscle) nor Matt Hendricks (knee) were on the ice with the team.
