Capitals fourth-line winger Matt Hendricks did not practice today in South Florida. He is listed as day to day with an undisclosed injury, according to a team spokesman, and was spotted limping out of the Capitals dressing room.
Hendricks played a season-low 4:22 in Monday’s 5-4 loss to Florida and did not take a shift in the third period.
Hendricks declined to speak to reporters and Coach Dale Hunter would not divulge any additional details other than to say he’s day to day.
Hendricks is the only Caps forward (not including the injured Jay Beagle) without a goal. He has three assists in 26 games.
