Michal Neuvirth to start in Chicago

Based on the morning skate, it looks like Michal Neuvirth will get the nod in net tonight at United Center. He’s expected to face the Blackhawks' Corey Crawford.

Neuvirth will be backed up by Braden Holtby, who was recalled from Hershey on Saturday and joined the Caps moments before the skate began. Tomas Vokoun is nursing a nagging injury and did not practice. Instead, he rode a stationary bike outside the visitors' dressing room.

The Caps didn’t take line rushes, but it’s possible the lineup will remain the same judging from the players (John Erskine, Roman Hamrlik and Jeff Halpern) who stayed on the ice for extra work.

Stay tuned for more updates from Chicago.
