Mike Green not skating Monday

Defenseman Mike Green is not skating for the seventh straight day since “twisting” his right ankle against Detroit, which would seem to indicate that he won’t be available for tomorrow’s game against visiting Anaheim.

I’m told Green was spotted limping as he made his way through the KCI lobby this morning.

Also, minor league call-up Sean Collins is wearing a black jersey with white accents, while the injured John Erskine is wearing a black jersey with gray accents, just like all the other defensemen. Erskine has been waiting for clearance from Dr. Ben Shaffer on his shoulder, which was repaired in May.

I’ll check with Coach Bruce Boudreau on the status of Green and Erskine after practice. So stay tuned.
