Open thread: Capitals at Islanders

logologo

The Capitals look to make it four in a row — and further solidify their spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture — when they face the New York Islanders tonight at Nassau Coliseum.

Michal Neuvirth received the start in net for the Capitals opposite Islanders veteran Evgeni Nabokov.

Based on pregame warmups, Washington’s lineup should look like this:

 Forwards

Johansson-Laich-Ovechkin

Chimera-Perreault-Semin

Hendricks-Beagle-Brouwer

Knuble-Aucoin-Ward

Defense

Alzner-Carlson

Schultz-Wideman

Hamrlik-Orlov

Goalies

Neuvirth

Vokoun

Scratches: Halpern and Erskine (healthy); Green (last of a three-game suspension).

Chat about the game in the comments section below and check back before faceoff for Washington’s lineup.

Faceoff: 7 p.m., Nassau Coliseum | TV: CSN | Radio:1500 AM
