The Capitals visit Madison Square Garden for the first time this season to take on the Eastern Conference leading New York Rangers. Although

Although Tomas Vokoun led the Capitals on to the ice for warmup, which is typically an indication of who will start in that game, Michal Neuvirth received the nod in net and will be opposed by Henrik Lundqvist. Meanwhile, alternate captain Mike Knuble is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game.
